My name is Susan Sommers and I am much like you. Unlike many Pilates Instructors I do not come from a dance background. Personally, when I began doing Pilates I noticed I felt less aches and pains. I felt stronger – and yes, I even stood taller. Over time the shape of my body really did change. It made a big difference in my life. It can make a big difference in yours. With a PILATES BODY, you will be a fit new you.
My certification as a Pilates instructor has given me full knowledge of functional anatomy, biomechanics, postural analysis and a full command of the exercise repertoire – including modifications for all levels of fitness. I am prepared to guide my students so they can reap all the benefits Pilates has to offer.
Pilates training is “personal” training. There’s a lot of communication and hands-on work that is necessary to bring the technique to the student.
You will find me to be fun-loving and energetic, and my teaching method warm and caring. I have a special talent for bringing out the best in people, and an ability to see growth potential in my students. My genuine desire to help combined with my technical training makes me an exceptionally good teacher.
